Oracle | Concept Wheelcair

The concept wheelchair has been done thousands of times and I’ve featured many on this website. Like concept cars, they’re fun to look at but not always practical. However their point is to really present new ideas that could become practical. Which brings us to the latest concept wheelchair by Spanish designer Miguel Mojica. His is the Oracle concept wheelchair.

Looks wise this wheelchair is very sleek. Simple lines and hubless wheels make it look feathery light. The unique functions are in the seat and motorized wheels. Here is how Mojica describes them:

It has an ergonomic seat that adapts to the positions of the user in real time, thanks to its material flexible carbon fiber.
It has an electrical system connected to the tires which reduce the effort of the user. The alignment is magnetic and will be located at the end of the rim; serve to facilitate the user’s balance as counterweights, reducing the uphill effort and optimizing the acceleration in a straight path.
