iOS 7 Accessiblity Features

Unless you’ve been cut off from recent media access, then you know that Apple came out with the newest version of the iPhone, the 5S. Along with a new phone was the introduction of iOS 7. This new mobile operating system introduced a band new look along with added features. Some of those new features included some additions to the phone’s accessibility features.

Most of the original features were for blind and low vision with features such as large text, VoiceOver, and zoom. Those features still exist but there are a few new things. There is now added voice controls via Siri, whole screen zoom, and communication with Braille devices via Bluetooth.

Those who are deaf or hard of hearing can now utilize Closed Captioning from many podcasts and videos from iTunes. Some hearing aids can also work directly with and communicate with the iPhone.
