Carbon Black was designed and developed for over four years by designer and wheelchair user, Andrew Slorance. He started his company Iimagine, to develop a new and improved wheelchair. The result is a wheelchair that is lightweight, low maintenance, and portable.

Simple Assembly Required
Four main components make up the Carbon Black. Two side wheels, seat with footrest, and seat back. All of which easily attach and detach from each other. Each wheelchair is made to order to specific measurements that fit the intended user. But to add additional flexibility, both the footrest and seat back are adjustable.

Advantages
With the Carbon Black, no lubricants are needed to maintain moving parts. Adjustments also do not require tools and can be done by hand. When transporting, the Carbon Black comes apart easily in part to its light weight. Watch the video below for a demonstration of this.

Black Light
Another great feature are the LED lights built into the footrest. Giving steady light to a path at night. Which also helps drivers see the wheelchair at night.
